Spend the weekend with friends and family. Employment Type: Part Time 8-16 hours per week. Compensation: Starting $17 per hour We are looking for a trusted person to assist with organizing project equipment, managing inventory levels, documenting the return/replacement status of equipment, keeping our shop area clean and organized, and help us improve the processes in place to make this a more streamline operation. We would want to lean on this person’s prior knowledge and ideas to help us improve and document our current process. About You Knowledge and Abilities: • A self-directed individual • Must be organized • Has a solution-oriented mindset • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Has a “professional voice” when crafting emails, speaking with vendors and customers • Critical thinker • Detail-oriented and able to multi-task with ease • Seeks to improve workflow with ideas and systems • Proficient with MS Office Suite-Outlook, Excel, Word • Adept at learning new software used in the business • Must have their own transportation and a clean driving record Experience: • Has previously worked in a similar role for 2 years plus About the Role-Shop Organizer/Material Assembler • Assembling/organize materials that we receive from vendors into their specific project bins/area. This person would receive project materials, asses them for damage, test select equipment, and assign them to projects using a product pick list. The installers rely on this being very accurate, so they arrive to jobsites with the correct equipment. Modify equipment changes to projects and update equipment and project management software accordingly. • Communicating when projects are fully assembled and ready to be scheduled. • Processing completed projects. • Removing recycling and trash from facility and bringing to waste center. • When receiving damages equipment, work with vendors/shippers to get it replaced quickly, and with as little cost to us as possible. Tracking where these items are in the replacement process. • Processing materials we need returned to vendors, track status, and follow up. • Processing equipment that needs to be sent for repair. This includes setting up return material authorization (RMA) with the manufacturer/vendor, making sure we everything/part they require to process the return, and shipping it. Tracking where these items are, in the replacement process.
