Hi there, I'm a singer and bodhrán player, 15+ years experience performing. Settled down in Bristol, Vermont, growing my Celtic Art & Apparel business and raising a young family. Coming out of my 'cave' as things are opening up. Playing a few shows regionally with a couple bands, but... Would love to connect with one or two people close to Bristol, west side of the mountains. I can lead with vocals and play percussion, but need strings accompaniment and ideally another voice. Seeking (in order of priority): - Rhythm: Guitar, Irish bouzouki, octave mando, banjo, etc. - Melody: Fiddle, mandolin, tenor banjo, etc. - lead/backing/harmony vocals - flute/whistle, concertina, button accordion, Uilleann pipes, small pipes, keyboard are all great too. Have: - Plenty of Irish songs - Small PA system Styles to perform: - Pub songs and ballads - Irish/Scottish traditional dance tunes (jigs and reels, etc.) - Maritime sea chanteys, forebitters, etc. - Rootsy ballads, work songs, Spirituals. - I also enjoy backing Country-Folk, Americana, Old Time, Bluegrass, Jam band, Reggae, etc. Goals: - Keep it close to Bristol/Addison County, up to Burlington. - Jam sessions (aka rehearsals) or gigs 2-4 times/month. - Develop a duo/trio show for pub gigs, small outdoor concerts, events. - Work up some originals. - Recording.
