Looking for a caring dog lover to take in a sweet and lovely male cocker spaniel. My mother in law passed away and we have been taking care of her dog but are unable to keep him. Unfortunately, our cat really doesn’t like him and he is very lonely most of the day since we are away for most of it. He is great with kids, dogs and cats. Four years old purebred and has not been neutered. Knows many commands: sit, stay, down, leave it & quiet. Is potty trained but not a great walker on a leash and tugs a lot. He gets very excited when meeting new people and tends to bark but warms up quickly. He adores meeting other animals and is easy to love. I’ve never seen him be aggressive or destructive. We are looking to find him a home with people who either work from home or are around a lot. He is used to having someone around all of the time and being the center of attention. He gets very sad when we leave and would really benefit from having an owner that can make him a priority. He’s up to date on all of his vaccines but is due for a yearly physical at the end of June.
