I do believe in free speech. If I didn’t, I would be mindlessly flagging everything. Free speech doesn’t exactly exist on Craigslist but that’s another topic for another day.
Insofar as respecting his opinions- I respect his right to an opinion. I think you’re confusing dissent with respect. You don’t have to agree with someone to respect their opinion.
