Staffmark is seeking an experienced Machinist to join an industry leading Energy Company in Huston area! Pay range $22/hr – $28/hr Make this next career move your most exciting yet! Resume MUST highlight High School Diploma or GED (required) Minimum of 7 years’ related experience (required) - Preference for 7+ years Machinist experience Knowledge of machines and products manufactured (required) Must be able to read blueprints, technical documents, drawings, and diagrams (i.e. shop math) Must be able to be on call and work with minimum notice PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Set up and operate more than one type of CNC Machine. Monitor controls and make necessary adjustments to achieve product specs and change cutting tools. Read dimensions and tooling instructions from work orders and blueprints. Verify conformance of machined parts to product specs. Load and unload material and align material to specs. Plan and perform machine operations which require complicated set ups, troubleshooting with a high degree of accuracy. Familiarity with machines controls such as Fanuc, Mazak, HEIDENHAIN and or Siemens. Proficient in one and adaptable to in-house control. Edit program as needed to achieve conformant machined components. Maintain traceability of machined components. Handle special projects as assigned.
