Read the US Constitution over and over and you will not find any clause stating that a state could not leave the union. That fact, plus the freedom found within the 10th amendment of the US constitution, as well as Texas's own constitution's Article 1 Sections 1 & 2 leaves Texas the right to determine its own destiny. All political power resides in the people of Texas, not some keyboard justice warrior making threats of physical harm for someone you disagree with online.
