ASCO 2022 - CHICAGO / Buzz Impressions / Fully Vaccinated Baristas, Cooks/Bakers, and Servers / $20.00-$30.00 per hour / 06/04/2022 - 06/06/2022 / 35 Workers / Chicago, Illinois 60616 Agency: KPG Event Staffing Location: McCormick Place 2301 S King Dr, Chicago, IL 60616 Project Name: ASCO 2022 - CHICAGO IL Talent: Experienced Coffee House/Cafe Baristas, Cooks/Bakers, and servers ALL MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED Dates/Times: June 4, 2022 / 7:00AM - 5:15PM June 5, 2022 / 8:00AM - 5:15PM June 6, 2022 / 8:00AM - 5:30PM ***Must be available all dates and times ***Times are subject to change BARISTA TEAM LEAD - $30/HR FLOATERS - $30 - (FLOATERS WILL HELP WITH SET UP ON JUNE 3 AND WITH BREAK DOWN AFTER THE EVENT ON JUNE 6. FLOATERS MUST HAVE BARISTA EXPERIENCE AS YOU WILL BE COVERING THE OTHER BARISTAS ON THEIR BREAKS) BARISTAS - $25/HR COOKS/BAKERS - $25/HR SERVERS - $20/HR $15/DAY for parking with valid and legible receipts Payment is processed VIA QUICKBOOKS ON THE 2ND OR 4TH FRIDAY OF EACH MONTH. YOU HAVE 72 HOURS AFTER THE END OF THE EVENT TO BE REIMBURSED FOR PARKING/LYFT/UBER/LOCAL TRANSPORTATION EXPENSES. Duties: BARISTAS must have coffee house/cafe experience. (DEMOING A KCUP OR NESPRESSO MACHINE IS NOT A BARISTA). There will be no onsite training. You will be making lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos, flat whites, espressos, mochas, etc in a fast past environment (the average barista at our shows can make 400 hot beverages in an 8 hour day). You will be using an old-fashioned style espresso machine with a steaming wand and coffee grinder. COOKS/BAKERS - will be prepping, cooking/baking food items, and serving them SERVERS - will be handing out beverages, food items, and sweet treats. UNIFORM - BLACK dress pants/slacks with BLACK BELT (NO JEANS OR LEGGINGS, MUST BE PROFESSIONAL WORK ATTIRE) OR BLACK knee-length skirt, and a BLACK or GRAY long-sleeve button-down shirt (tucked in).
