NW Employment Solutions is partnered with a local plastic injection molding company to bring on an experienced maintenance technician to become a key member of our team and participate in several improvement events throughout the year while focusing on safety, quality, on time delivery, and cost. Applicants must be able to repair mechanical equipment and communicate with vendors and contractors for machine specific repairs. Job Details: Troubleshoot machinery and equipment problems in the plant Work with manufacturers and/or service departments of suppliers (machinery or equipment) to minimize machine down time Create purchase orders to procure all necessary tools, parts, and supplies to keep machines and facility in good working order Prioritize maintenance requests and enter them into the plant maintenance database Responsible for all plant hazardous waste material; safe storage and disposal according to EH&S standards Manage plant preventative maintenance program Dismantle, relocate, and install machinery both existing and new Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) events as needed Participate in major machine repair projects as needed Other duties as assigned Requirements: Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of machine repair experience. Must be able self-motivated and work without supervision Have an understanding of industrial instrumentation and control Advanced mechanical ability to dismantle and reassemble machinery and equipment Advanced electrical knowledge of machine tools and facility equipment Pump work, ball screws, accesses that move, Lock Out Tag Out, some electronic board tear out, CNC Machine Repair, and advanced tool knowledge required Intermittent walking, use of hand/wrist, and bending/twisting Must be comfortable pushing/pulling, crouching, sitting, standing, and occasional climbing and working at heights Must lift and carry 1-40 pounds occasionally Days: Monday – Friday Shift: 11am-7pm OR 12pm-8pm Rate of Pay: $25-$30/hr (dependent on experience) If you or someone you know may be interested in this position, call or text "Technician" to Erin at 971-601-4983
