We are hiring a handyman to join our dynamic and fast-growing team. We are a thriving business that provides high-quality contractor services across the greater Portland-metro area. We specialize in residential and select commercial remodeling, renovations and additions. We are a small team with an entrepreneurial spirit always looking for ways to improve our work and develop our team. We genuinely want the best outcome for everyone, every time. The positions will be responsible for completing work tasks related to preparing houses for sale. This will involve both repairs and installation of new building components. Essential duties include but are not limited to: 1+ years experience in Light Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, roofing, siding, tile, and flooring repair and replacement (knowledge and experience of all these trades is a plus, but not required). Must maintain a professional and courteous manner with everyone in contact at the jobsite including other residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees. Must have the necessary tools to effectively complete tasks outlined above. Able to use smartphone apps for photographs and work checklist. Company will reimburse for or provide a phone. One must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships. Must have reliable transportation to haul tools and basic materials and willing to drive to different jobs on a daily basis if required. Must be able to work independently or with other team members as the job requires. Most jobs will be scoped with a clearly defined list of tasks that must be completed 100% without exception. Must be able to identify additional work needed and communicate this to supervisor. Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
