The Opportunity WestRock is looking for quality individuals to join our General Labor Productions - Machine Operations team in Lewisburg, TN! • Starting Wage: $18.50/hr • Shift(s) available: 3rd shift- 12 hour shifts Monday-Friday (7pm-7am) • Benefits effective DAY ONE (Medical, Dental, Vision, and more)!!! • Your Safety is our #1 priority, and our records prove it! • Employee appreciation perks (free ice cream, meal perks, safety perks! • Amazing employee discounts! • Tuition assistance! • Paid maternity & paternity leave (two weeks - after one year of employment)! • Reimbursement for steel-toed safety shoes What you need to succeed The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safe, take ownership of and pride in assigned area/s, ensure customer products meet the company quality / packaging specifications, and and maintain current standard operating and troubleshooting procedures. • Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, utilize appropriate safety equipment and report unsafe conditions to the appropriate administrator. • Ability to operate various manufacturing equipment, follow specific directions, operate hand tools, and other duties as assigned. • Excellent communication skills. • Maintain housekeeping excellence. • Must be able to lift, push or pull ~ 50 pounds on a routine basis • Walk, stand, bend and kneel throughout a shift. • Maintain a clean and organized work space. • Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math and computer skills.
