Abandoned Doorstep Cat Looking for a New Forever Home

Hi all. We got home from Dr. Strange last Tuesday (5/10) night and found an abandoned orange cat under our front porch. I say abandoned because along with him was a deflated Happy Birthday balloon with no note. Considering how sparsely populated this area is, it would be a pretty big coincidence for the cat and the balloon to be unrelated. We've had him for a week now as we've been looking for the owner but we haven't been able to turn up anything, so it's time to start looking for a new home for him. As much as we'd love to, we're unable to take him in since we're already at capacity with two dogs and a cat of our own, which is a bummer since this cat is so well-behaved and friendly. He's a real pleasure to be around. We aren't charging anything to re-home him. We just want to be sure it's a good place to live where he will thrive. General info: - We’ve named him Mootz - Orange house cat - Male - Estimated between 1 and 2 years old. - Not yet neutered (scheduled for this Thursday) - Not yet microchipped - Very friendly, sits in lap, purrs, very careful with his claws. - Playful. Loves to chase and hunt feather toys. - Litter box trained. - We're sure he was in indoor cat, considering how clean his fur and ears are and how at home he makes himself inside. I took him to a vet in Sammamish to get him started on his shots and stuff, and here's what the vet has to say: - Healthy - blood test was NEGATIVE for FeLV and FIV, so he's safe to be around other cats. - We gave him his rabies vaccine. - We gave him his first dose of Revolution+. - We have him scheduled him for neutering for this Thursday (5/19). - They trimmed his claws without issue. He was very calm and accepting of it. - Very clean fur and ears. No ticks, fleas, or eggs. We have a handful for cat supplies that we will give you along with him. A cat-condo, food bowl, scratching post, a bag of food, and some litter. This will get you jump started with supplies.
