We are seeking part time professional movers to supplement our moving crews. We are a small moving company based in Charlottesville and Lynchburg, VA. We offer contract jobs so you can work only the days you are available, with option to join our crews on a more regular basis. Competitive pay with customer tips and an active working environment. Pay rates depend on experience level. Movers perform residential and commercial relocation services to customers. Job duties include box packing/unpacking, truck loading/unloading, furniture assembly, shipping, furniture staging, strong customer service skills. Job locations are local and long distance, travel outside of the state is not required. We are seeking the following: ~MUST be physically fit and able to perform labor intensive activities for the duration of an 5-8 hour work day. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs repeatedly. Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs up and down stair cases as needed. ~Flexible and professional mentality with a "can do" attitude towards meeting the changing demands of the job. ~Positive attitude and adaptable ability to work and excel in small and large teams. ~Excellent Customer Service skills. Capable and Adaptable attitude that meets all requests from customers as well as team leaders. ~MUST be reliable, dependable and trustworthy. ~MUST NOT have a criminal record in theft or violent offenses.
