Also, potential for medical benefits. 40-hour min work weeks with overtime available and weekly pay checks. We are currently seeking technicians to join our team. Honesty, integrity, and a team mentality are key characteristics we look for in potential candidates. Minimum experience should include being mechanically inclined and able to perform tasks with common tools. All candidates will receive on the job training. Past experience will impact starting wage rate. Candidates should be able to perform physical daily activities that require being active the majority of the workday. Candidates must be physically able to climb ladders, lift heavy objects up to 80 LBS, and perform other physically demanding activities associated with the repair, maintenance and construction of buildings. Work hours may vary seasonally based on workload and demand. In fall/winter we often work 2nd shift. During summer months 1st shift is most common. Hours may vary from time to time. Weekend work is very limited and normally occurs only during emergencies. Reach out today to learn more about what we have to offer Job Description Skilled maintenance / construction laborer performs required general facility maintenance, a wide variety of construction tasks, and performs a variety of repair duties. Manages subcontractors as needed and self-motivated to work by self at times. Responsibilities: General Maintenance includes light drywall installation and finishing, painting, ceiling repairs, and other repair work General Carpentry Maintain a clean and organized job site Follow and execute scopes of work with outstanding quality and attention to detail Manage subcontractors as needed Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Valid Driver’s license (must) Pass Background Check Moral Character and outstanding work ethic Good communication / interpersonal skills while providing quality customer service Self-motivated to complete assigned tasks within allotted time frame. Able to work well with others as well as independently, with little or no supervision. Along with 5+ years of experience. Salary: $17- $25 /hour Schedule: Due to COVID-19, hours vary. Summer hours will vary, Fall- Spring hours depend (may start anywhere from 11am to 3pm and work 8-to-12-hour shift), overtime allowed. Typical Hours: Fall through Spring: hours anywhere from 11am to 3pm and work 8-to-12-hour shift Summer hours – depend on needs, several hours of overtime available Job Includes: Flexible work hours, independent work environments, along with changing work environment and consistent work. Light travel around West Michigan and may include travel within Michigan. May include occasional overnight travel. Job Type: Full-time CFC-WM is an "at-will" employer.
