Outstanding Band with Awesome Potential seeks Bass

Description
Hey! Thanks for checking out our post. We are an original band that's been getting ready to gig and record. Vocals, guitars, drums and cello, yes cello, are all covered. The bass player we've been practicing with for months now just misses too many rehearsals and practices too little though. This has been holding us back from the places we aim to go. Our significant collection of originals are built on a Classic Rock foundation. I think you'd agree, that is a broad and many-splendid genre. Some of our more ballad-like tunes are ultra calm and soothing while other high-energy tunes have the potential to fill amphitheaters with a great big sound. Some of the arrangements are quite simple while some are rather intricate. The is also a broad infusion of world influences and a tendency to emphasizes the off beat with reverence for a good groove. Two songs we enjoy covering (though the bass player has yet to learn) are Russian Lullaby by Irving Berlin and Just a Gigolo by Luis Prima (no, David Lee Roth did not write that song : ) We are sincerely a great group of people who have begun a collective of friendship with staying power. Our ages range for 26 to 46. These are all people who I want to see the world with. Every member is a dedicated, experienced, and expressive player. Capitalizing on our potential will take some work though. We practice all together at least once a week and more whenever possible. We get together in pairs to polish arrangements on average once a week as well. On June 1st we take possession of a 24/7 rehearsal space next to the Walnut Room. June 15th we have our first gig scheduled at The Venue. We'll just have to see what happens as we approach that date. We have also secured the chance to record with a producer whose work I greatly admire. Recording with him will get started in late summer at The Blasting Room in Ft. Collins. We also aspire to add keys, Rhodes - Hammond B3 - Wurlitzer vibes. Hopefully that will come together as well before too long. All kinds of room exists for horns and other instruments to join in for special occasions and recordings. What we really need first though is an awesome, dedicated bass player who's fun to hang with, fun to play with, and who we can all rely on. If that might be you, please be in touch. Thank you for your consideration. Justin
