2 Female Rabbits To A Good Home

Description

Please have experience with rabbits prior, I don’t want this happening to them again. For months I’ve fought off rehoming my 2 bunnies because I brought them into the family, my responsibility. But it’s been over a year and I physically, mentally, and financially can no longer handle them. I’m at my breaking point, I’ve had them for 2-3 years and they’ve never bonded with me. They just want to be fed and wreck havoc whenever they manage to escape (which lately has been quite often because I cannot afford to replace the cage they chewed up) I’ve felt so guilty and worried about people thinking I’m one of those people who just gets an animal without doing homework then gets rid of them the second they’re tired of it but I’ve tried my best ever single day I’ve had them for years and it’s emotionally taking a toll on me, my family, and physical property itself at this point because I can’t keep them restrained. Every time I clean the cage it’s a fight to even get them put back in, whoever rehomes them (they need to go together as they’ve been bonded since the day I got them) will need either some patience or skill trying to grab/catch them. The Oreo looking one is naked Oreo for obvious reasons. The other is honey. Neither bites or does anything aggressive but they absolutely just don’t care much for me (I do have other pets, not sure if they can smell them because they were so sweet and well behaved with the couple I got them from off Craigslist a few years ago) I feel at this point I’m just physically keeping them cared for but I can’t provide much else. I’d really like them to go to a home with somebody who has the space and knowledge of rabbits and can actually work with them. I know they can be great members of the family, I feel they just need the right environment to thrive.
