Janitorial/ Floor crew at Rocky Mountain Labs $19.60 per hour We are looking to hire an energetic floor tech to keep our lab floors clean. The floor tech will be responsible for the maintenance of all floor areas, and for sustaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. You will sweep and mop large areas, burnish tiled floors, scrub-buff marnolium floors, remove spots from carpets, perform extraction carpet cleaning, dispose of trash. You will operate floor sweepers, buffers, strippers. Hours are Mon-Fri 4:00pm to 12:00am. All Federal holidays are paid time off. Paid vacation after your first year. Paid sick time. Pay is $19.60 per hour. To be successful in this role you will protect occupants and visitors by keeping our floors clean and sanitized, being mindful of slip, trip and fall hazards. Preferred candidates are motivated, meticulous, and pride in their work. Floor Tech Responsibilities: Cleaning offices, hallways, common areas, and other areas. Moving furniture before and after cleaning. Cleaning, dusting, mopping, stripping, and waxing floors. Measuring chemicals correctly. Using chemicals correctly. Cleaning, maintaining, and storing equipment and PPE proficiently. Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor. Floor Tech Requirements: High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent preferred. Floor maintenance experience preferred. Completion of Federal Background Check. Completion of on-the-job training. Lift 30 lbs. Stand for long periods of time Excellent communication skills.
