We are looking for a Warehouse Manager for our Team! 1) Requirements • Must be able to lift 50# • Must have a valid driver’s license. • Must be able to qualify for government passes (To get on base) • Must submit driver’s abstract • Must be capable of using computer: Excel and Words, email, etc. 2) Daily pickup and deliveries and Warehousing Duties Pick-up of materials to our shop: • If we have to pick-up: check list of materials against our purchase order. • Make sure there are no damages and no back orders. • Mark all items with the correct job name and job number. • Put away material in designated areas. • Notify department supervisor and project manager and Purchasing Agent, that material has been delivered or is in the shop. Receiving Material and Equipment to our shop: • Shipping Companies or Project Managers and Purchasing Agent will call or email you to schedule delivery of materials and equipment to the shop. • Inventory all items that were delivered against purchase order. • Make sure there are no damages and no back orders. Note any damages and advise project manager immediately. • Mark all items with the correct job name and job number. • Put away material and equipment in designated areas. • Notify department supervisor and project manager and Purchasing Agent that material is in. Scheduling delivery of materials and equipment to the job site: • Superintendents or Project Manager will coordinate with you when specific material needs to be delivered. • Prepare delivery tag for foreman to sign. • Schedule delivery of material to jobsite on date and time given. 3) Warehouse daily Duties • Check with purchasing agent for deliveries and pick-ups to be scheduled • Empty all rubbish in warehouse • Empty all catch pans of water from AC units • Sweeping of shop and parking lot (look out for nails) i. Use of forklift magnet • Assisting with loading of trucks for men in the field • Assist in gathering needed materials or equipment for field for next day. • Check all trucks that is in the shop a) Tire pressure b) Fluid: Gas/ oil/ trans oil/ water level/ etc. • Check all forklifts a) Tire pressure b) Propane level c) Fluid: Gas/ oil/ trans oil/ water level/ etc. • Wash dirty trucks as required • Schedules metal and rubbish bin swap out. 4) Duties throughout the day • Warehouse pathways should be cleared • All tools/ materials/ equipment should be put back to its designated area • Yard should be cleaned up i. Scheduling with the designated person for the proper disposal of wood/ metal/ oil/ ect. ii. Pallets neatly stacked up iii. Kill Weeds or overgrown vegetation iv. Sweep daily • Oxygen tanks/ acetylene tanks, etc. that are brought back empty should be returned to the vendor A.S.A.P. • Nitrogen tanks are owned by Elite and are to be returned to Service Dept for logging and storage in the rolling cage. Once we have 25 empty tanks, call Cosco to pick up to refill. • Refrigerant bottles: Empty bottles to be set aside for disposal. • Recovery tanks should be labeled with a Job# so it can be charged accordingly to that job for recycling. • All other tanks should be put back into designated area • Supervisor will schedule for material/ equipment / rubbish pick up from jobsite. a) All rubbish should be properly disposed of b) All equipment and material brought back should be shown to department supervisor and then put back into designated areas. • Rubbish bin from the back should be brought to the front the day before rubbish pick up 5) Afternoon Daily Duties • Make sure all trucks are locked and all tools/ladders are locked and secured • Make sure there is no equipment/ materials/ tools lying around not locked up or secured.
