Description

Come help the Salvation Army fight food scarcity for Baltimore's mature low-income residents. On May 21st, Cityfam is partnering with The Salvation Army to help with their Commodity Supplemental Food Program. CSFP aims to improve the health and wellness of low-income residents, who are 60 years of age and above, by supplementing their diets with nutritious vegetables, fruits, grains, and meats from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Volunteers will help package and prepare nutritionally balanced meals for our seniors who are running on a tight income, with less family support, and nutrition issues. Help fight food scarcity today by packing a box full of hope. Children with supervision are welcome to join in the volunteer efforts.
