We are a family owned Food Distributor looking for a skilled and energetic person to join our team!! The position is for Warehouse Associate We are currently located in Hollywood, FL, but will be relocating to Opa-Locka, FL in May, 2022 Summary: Warehouse Associate is responsible for rotating inventory and stocking, loading and unloading trucks, receiving product and maintaining a clean environment. Candidates must have experience using pallet jacks and forklifts. This individual may need to also assist in deliveries throughout the week. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to: - Loading and unloading trucks - Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards of the truck, equipment and warehouse *Additional responsibilities will be discussed during the interview process Qualifications: The Candidate - Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs- push/pull up to 500 lbs - Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time - Must be able to handle COLD temperatures for extended periods of time (Coolers/Freezers) - Must work well with others- including working with team at warehouse and customers - The right candidate must be must maintain a professional appearance at all times - Clean Florida DL (CDL License a plus but not necessary) - Must speak English. - General knowledge of South Florida areas a plus. (We cover as far North as Melbourne on the East and Tampa on the West.) - Customer Satisfaction Oriented. - Must be responsible and prompt. - References - Monday to Friday some Saturday’s and Holiday’s - Will have to submit to Drug Screening and Criminal Background & License Investigation MUST APPLY IN PERSON!!!!
