People's AME Church/Chelsea Fundraising Concert and Worship Greetings, Thank you for your support... The goal of this concert is to raise funds to help People's AME Church with its building project and operational cost. People's AME does not have a building of its own. This lack of a stable building has affected the possibility of a stable and growing ministry. People's AME was founded in 1889. Its original place of worship was destroyed in the 1908 fire and a subsequent devastating fire in the city of Chelsea. Since then, People's AME has never owned a stable place of worship. Notwithstanding, People's AME has been engaged in various outreach ministries in the city of Chelsea and in collaboration with the Chelsea Black Community. Your support is highly appreciated.
