We are looking for 5-10 folks to help us prepare our learning garden for use! Lunch and snacks provided, and, of course, great community! Who: The Venture Out Project works to provide a safe and fun space for queer, trans, and LGBTQ+ people to experience the outdoors. What: We are looking for 5-10 folks to help us prepare our learning garden for use! Lunch, snacks, and beverages will be provided! NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED. We will be digging up some established lilies and tulips, and re-mulching the area. All bulbs are free to take home! And have no fear, we will be planting native pollinators in their place! When: Saturday May 21st; 10:00 am - 3:30 pm Where: Basecamp at Beaver Falls; 3542 VT-112, Jacksonville, VT 05342 Why: We are a small team with limited resources. Any and all help is appreciated! Plus, we get to meet you amazing folks! How: Mostly shovel work!
