An amazing Sunday Famday with the Kids n' Paws Workshop, Vendors, and Vaccines&Microchips offered by Miami-Dade County Animal Services. Love is not enough! Teach them while their young about what it means to bring a dog into your family and the responsibilities that come with it to avoid abandonment, mistreatment, scared kids, punishments, non-responsible adoptions, puppy mills, and unwanted accidents. The PetWorking developed this special workshop where kids and their families can learn basic tips to welcome their new pets into their homes and how to care for if they already have one. Understanding the commitment and responsibilities that comes with owning a dog. This is a FREE kid’s event. At this Kids N' Paws Workshop: • Kids will learn and have fun with different dogtivities. • Professional trainer and demonstration dog. • Kid's Kits for first 20 kids to arrive. • Take-home learning material. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: • This event is for kids that already have a dog, or not yet. This is the perfect first step for families thinking or planning on getting a doggy. • Please keep dogs at home or with parents so kids don't get distracted during the workshop. • Parents are welcome to stay and listen. • Kids N' Paws is recommended for kids ages 6-12. SPOTS ARE LIMITED. We encourage families to bring your doggie at BarkSquare's day care during the activity, so kids will be more focused on the content.
