LEARN! EAT! NETWORK! You do not want to miss this! Krista's BIO Krista Goodrich is originally from Central Florida but spent many years landlocked in Northeast Georgia. After years of vacationing and investing in Daytona, she was finally able to come back to Florida and now proudly calls Daytona Beach home. Krista first worked in the stock market as a Mutual Fund National Accounts Executive for companies such as Goldman Sachs, AXA Advisors and Morgan Stanley, but found corporate life not for her. She left corporate 20 years ago to start her entrepreneurial journey (more on that in a bit). Krista is the founder of Salty Dog Vacations, a vacation rental management company, along with her business partner, Kym Nguyen, and is known locally as the Airbnb and Short-Term Rental Encyclopedia. She has spent a decade studying zoning maps and trends in order to help agents and investors find the perfect spot for their next vacation rental investment. She is considered an expert in the short-term rental space and consults with real estate companies, investment groups, women's groups and individuals on their vacation rental investment goals. Krista started Salty Dog Vacations, to help local investors maximize profitability while staying compliant with local and state regulations...and to make vacation rental investing fun! She currently personally owns 17 vacation rentals in three states and manages properties in Volusia and Flagler counties. Salty Dog Vacations intends to expand to St. John's and Brevard Counties as well as the Greater Orlando Area. Outside of Salty Dog Vacations, Krista is a serial entrepreneur and is owner or part-owner of Salty Dog Decor (you guessed it, a vacation rental decorating company), The World's Most Famous Brewery on Main Street, Hopcycles, a wedding venue in Georgia, founder of Masterpiece Mixers Paint & Party Studios which franchised 20 locations on the eastern seaboard and author of The Boss Lady Investor book. She was recognized by the News Journal as a leading Woman in Business in 2020 and has earned numerous awards for entrepreneurship. She is a member of the Daytona Chamber, The Boss Lady Group, Lady Landlords and on the Daytona Redevelopment Board. Krista graduated from East Tennessee State University with two degrees: Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts Foreign Language with a Concentration in French. She has one daughter, Tiana, who is also a vacation rental guru-in-training, a smoking hot husband Colin, and two wild and crazy dogs. In her free time she enjoys boating, working out, reading, learning, traveling, scuba diving, adventure races and anything that can get her adrenaline going. 5 Questions Answered About Vacation Rentals 1.
