Visit the historic ballrooms of Franklin, PA Franklin Preservation will lead a walking tour of former ballrooms in several historic buildings in downtown Franklin, PA. Participants will meet at the Franklin Area Chamber of Commerce at Noon. The tour includes ballroom in the Masonic building, the grand hall of the Armory, the Lamberton ballroom with its former speakeasy, the upper floors of the Anderson furniture building, a former hotel, and a residential ballroom on the third floor of the Franklin Public Library. Participants must be able to walk one mile and climb multiple flights of stairs. The tour is free, but donations are appreciated.
