The BIPOC Alliance & FCCAN are working together to create brave spaces for people of color to heal through movement and community. Tai Chi Class with Shirley Man-kin LeungOutdoors at Edora ParkLook for us at Edora Park near the parking lot on Stuart Ave. Call/Text JR at 847-431-8564 if you cannot find us. This free, all-level Tai Chi class supports people of color and their quest for healing, community, and understanding. Join us for a community tai chi class led by Shirley Man-Kin Leung. This will be a fun introduction to tai chi and qigong with an emphasis on supporting our health, balance, and breathing.Tai chi, short for T'ai chi ch'üan or Tàijíquán, sometimes also known as "Shadowboxing", is an internal Chinese martial art practiced for defense training, health benefits, and meditation. We are grateful to offer this community healing experience in recognition of Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month. The BIPOC Alliance and FCCAN are working together to create spaces in northern Colorado for people of color to gather and collectively heal through the power of movement and community.
