Description

Unplug from the matrix and re-plug into your true nature. Join us for a hike at Great Falls, VA as we explore true happiness. We all strive to live a happier life. But what is happiness? Does it come from fame, wealth, beautiful cars, big homes, or relationships? Is it a state of mind? Is it living in peace and harmony with your mind, body, and soul? Join us for a 3-to-4-hour hiking experience at the majestic Great Falls as we ponder what it truly means to live a happier life. This experience is not a WORK “OUT'' but a WORK “IN”. We will navigate the Potomac Heritage Trail while exploring and sharing our thoughts on true happiness. During our journey, we will hike and occasionally pause to take in nature’s landscape, sounds, smells, and even hug a tree or two. We will then engage in a beginner friendly yoga flow, guided meditation and end with a self-reflection exercise to design our own happiness plan. So, grab your hiking boots and meet me on the trail for a day of exploring, discovery, and connection. I started hiking two years ago during the COVID-19 pandemic. At the time, I felt like my life was spiraling out of control. I was dealing with the loss of my grandmother while battling depression and anxiety. In addition, I was working an unfulfilling job that led to unnecessary stress and delayed productivity. Then one day, my inner spirit nudged me to seek refuge in nature. It was during this first hike where I instantly felt comforted amongst the trees, the chirping of the birds and stillness of the Potomac River. From that point, I hiked different trails in the DMV area where I meditated and did some self-reflection on my life. Every experience made me feel more nourished, centered, and connected to my true nature. My newfound zest for life inspired my decision to build a community of kindred souls interested in exploring nature and oneself. We are all tackling and navigating life challenges, but I’m a firm believer that life is a puzzle. We each have a piece of the puzzle, but collectively we can bring those pieces together and share how to live a happier, peaceful, and balanced life. We can then use our powerful collective energy to bring healing and transformation to ourselves, our families, our communities, and the world. This is my vision.
