Description
Come learn about and build habitat for Native Bees. All supplies included at no charge. Hollow Tree Honey Foundation invites you and your family to our Spring Bee Event at the Kinlands in Riverton, Utah. Admission to the event is free, and every family that participates will receive a custom wooden bee box (see pictures) that will house native bees for many years, as well as flower seeds that will keep your garden beautiful and filled with essential bees! Build and keep a native bee box (easy for all ages), learn about native bees and honeybees, and how to plant seeds in your yard for these amazing pollinators. Native bee boxes, reeds, and seeds will be provided at this free event. We'll have games and activities for kids, so be sure to bring them along! The bee boxes are almost entirely made from quality upcycled wood. You'll be cutting reeds that fit inside the box and provide a perfect place for native bees to lay their eggs, helping significantly increase the population of local bees in your neighborhood. One cool fact is that native Mason bees are considered stingless and the box does not attract wasps or hornets. Local bee conservation starts in our own backyards! This event will teach you and your kids how critical native bees are and help you to do your part in helping hundreds of species to thrive! We have 3 separate time slots available. One box will be provided to each group or family that registers. So if you sign up for 3 tickets under 1 name, we'll reserve 1 box for you (we're assuming you all live at the same place). Let us know if you have any questions. The goal is to get native bee boxes into as many unique locations as possible. We're excited to see you there! **By registering for this event, you hereby grant and authorize The Hollow Tree Honey Foundation the right to take photos of those attending for legally pormotional materials including but not limited to, adverttisements, fundraising, flyers, posters, and social media networks. I hereby hold harmless and release The Hollow Tree Honey Foundation from all liability petitions, and causes of action which I, my heirs, representative, executors, administrators, and any other persons may take while acting on my behalf or on behalf of my estate.
