Join us with your young one for an evening of candle-making with Varias Lunas candle company! Ages 10-18 are welcome! We will be learning a little about the stories behind candle-making and focus on the creativity behind it as we are making our individual amazing candles. This will be a guided workshop and there will be no open flames or individual electric pans. The host, Madeline Roque of Varias Lunas, will be assisting each participant in pouring their candle to ensure safety for all. Participants will be further encouraged to decorate their candles for a completely unique end-product. Candle-making certificates will be offered to each participant and a 40% discount to shop with Varias Lunas will also be available this evening only! We’ve created a fun session curriculum that will be provided on the day of the workshop for our candle-makers to follow-along and feel confident about their craft. 1 free, sponsored ticket is available for anyone that would love to participate, but would appreciate financial support. She encourages self-expression, admires the bright minds of our future generations, and believes providing a safe and supportive environment helps children build confidence to thrive in life. Madeline has been making candles for 4 years, her passion for candle-making evolved into a business in 2021, Varias Lunas, after the encouragement of friends and family who had received candles as gifts and had inquired about purchasing. She’s excited to lead this first candle-workshop and looking forward to seeing the unique finished products!
