Press release from the Snohomish County Government: May 5, 2022 We are still waiting on federal permit approval for permits submitted 2 years ago. Kayak Point will remain OPEN to the public for summer 2022 as we await these approvals. Construction for Phases 1 and 2 are now scheduled for 2023, when access to the day-use area will be closed for construction. Dates are subject to change.
