Norwood Town News May 15, 2022 Last month, the new playground at the Little Mustangs Preschool Academy was officially named "Carole's Corral" in honor of deceased, longtime Norwood Public Schools (NPS) employee, Carole Poirier. Carole wore many hats during her career with the Norwood Public Schools and was well known as a champion for our youngest students in the community. When the Preschool moved from the Willett to its current location at the LMPA, Carole was determined to make sure the students had a proper playground in their new location, securing the first set of donations for the structure. Today's dedication was attended by members of the NPS teaching and administrative staff, members of Carole's family, and of course, a group of preschool students who very much enjoyed playing in Carole's Corral! Norwood Town News is a monthly publication dedicated to covering the local news and events happening in Norwood. The paper is part of the Local Town Pages group of eight papers covering 10 towns in the Metrowest/Metrosouth areas that are mailed to more than 80,000 homes and businesses each month.
