NCSU Horticulture Crops Research Farm Tour - FREE!!! Do you want to learn what goes into getting blueberries from the farm to your table? This two hour (round trip) bus tour from the Agriculture Building in Burgaw, NC to the Horticulture Crops Research Farm in Castle Hayne, NC will give you a glimpse of how that happens. Researchers from NC State University will be at the research farm the day of the NC Bluberry Festival to talk about the work they do to develop new blueberry varieties as well as the work being done to study and improve the health and nutrition value of blueberries. Register for this 30 minute bus ride, spend an hour at the research farm and then take the bus back to the blueberry festival to enjoy the rest of your day at the NC Blueberry Festival.
