HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Police said a fight at a restaurant in Havre de Grace on Monday afternoon left one boy with stab wounds and another facing assault charges.
Around 3:50 p.m., police said officers were called to the 800 block of Pulaski Highway for a reported fight with stabbing.
A boy inside the restaurant had been stabbed, and he was taken to a regional hospital, according to police. The victim was in stable condition Monday night, authorities reported.
When officers arrived, they said multiple youths were leaving the scene.
Several eyewitnesses provided a description of the suspected assailant, and police said they found him nearby, and he gave chase when they tried to detain him. After a brief foot pursuit, he was taken into custody.
While the suspect was a juvenile, police said he was being charged as an adult with the following crimes:
