Mechanic Job Description Primary Duties and Responsibilities: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. *Assess vehicles and/or machinery to accurately diagnose and repair issues to promote their     functionality. *Communicate with management of the automotive requirements and defects or problems. *Prepare quotes and work estimates. *Keep an accurate log of all work performed. *Maintain and clean garage equipment and tools to ensure they are kept in safe and usable condition at all times. *Will be back up for wrecker. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: *Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. *Must be able to work well under pressure and respond quickly and efficiently. *Attention to detail. *Reliable and strong work ethic. *Pride of workmanship and follow-through are essential. *Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
