Press release from the Urbandale Community School District: May 12, 2022 Note: During the March 28th UCSD School Board meeting, the Board approved updates to Policy #921: Naming of District Facilities & Events which includes protocols for naming District buildings now and in the future. As our second new elementary school is being built on the former Valerius Elementary site, the name of the former building shall remain in place as both buildings share a similar purpose.
