Personal Assistant/Nanny Role in Half Moon Bay

We are looking for an experienced personal assistant and nanny in Half Moon Bay. Our family requires a responsible, kind, playful, fun and reliable candidate to assist a single mother raising her 10 year old girl. Must be comfortable pitching in with whatever is needed. This position will be 10-15 hours per week (3 days a week to start but could develop into more for the right candidate). Because summer is upon us now, the start and end time may vary each day. The ideal candidate will also be available to babysit upon request. A background check and references will be required before first day of employment. Qualifications • 5+ years of experience working in a similar role • Up to date with vaccinations including but not limited to most recent Covid-19 booster • Flexible schedule – Available at least three days a week • Driver’s License (Required) • Reliable transportation, clean driving record and willing to use own vehicle • Located in or around Half Moon Bay • Ability to take on a long-term commitment • Excellent communication skills • Proactive • Fluent in English Responsibilities • Assist with transportation for afterschool pickups and afterschool activities • Prepare snacks/meals • Grocery shopping • Light housekeeping • Check homework and homework help • Run errands as needed
