EAST HAMPTON, NY — East Hampton voters will head to the polls Tuesday to cast their ballots in the 2022 to 2023 school budget and school board candidate vote. The proposed $76,502,823 budget reflects a 1.79 percent budget-to-budget increase. Voters will weigh in on a proposition to approve the establishment of a repair reserve fund; the proposition is budget neutral, the district said. Three incumbents, James Foster, Justine O'Mara Limonius, and Sandra Vorpahl are running unopposed to retain their Board of Education seats. The annual school district budget vote and election of school board members will be held on Tuesday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the East Hampton High School cafeteria, located at 4 Long Lane in East Hampton.
