Press release from Village of Vernon Hills: The Village's contractor will be applying a Reclamite treatment to the newly paved streets from the 2021 Road Rehabilitation Program. This treatment acts as a sealant and is designed to prolong the longevity of the asphalt. Weather permitting, the contractor will begin applying the treatment on May 18th with a tentative completion date of May 20th. The streets included will be: Cherry Valley Dr., Westmoreland Dr. (partial), Ct. of Elm, Ct. of Ash, Greenbrier Ln., Bloomfield Ct. and Darling Drive. This will be a moving operation; therefore, traffic will continue to flow through the construction zone, however, delays can be expected.
