Join UF/IFAS Extension Polk County Master Gardener Volunteers for garden tours, make and take workshops, and classes on pollinators! Join UF/IFAS Extension Polk County Master Gardener Volunteers for a half day of garden tours, make & take workshops, and classes on all thing pollinators! All garden tour participants will be eligible for a free seed packet! *Pre-registration preferred. Supplies limited for day of class registration. Cash or check ONLY at the door. Fun with Pollinators! on Saturday, June 25, 2022, from 8:00 AM-12:30 PM (noon). All participants of any of the activities during this event are eligible for a drawing for a Butterfly Garden in a Container. Must check in for the event and be present to win. The winner will be announced at 12:00 PM at the location of the classes and workshops. Pollinator Classes: 9:00 AM: All About Pollinators 11:00 AM: Plants Pollinators LoveMake & Take Workshops: 10:00 AM: Pollinator House ($20)*12:00 PM (noon): Butterfly Puddling Station ($15)*Pre-registration preferred. Supplies limited for day of class registration. Cash or check ONLY at the door. Demo Garden Tours: 8:00 AM *10:00 AM ** Tour our awarding winning Florida-Friendly Demonstration garden. A great way to get tips and ideas for your own garden! Workshop presented by UF/IFAS Extension Polk County. We collect demographic information to ensure equitable access to Extension programs by all of our audiences. Each individual's participation is optional. Cancellation Policy: Programs, workshops, and events are subject to cancellation if a minimum number of attendees are not registered.
