SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests: On May 9 at 2:28 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the NJ State Police Barracks in Netcong to take into custody a 26-year-old male of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $100. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody. On May 13 at 12:38 a.m., Secaucus Police observed an individual in the area of 101 Plaza Centre Road who was believed to have an outstanding warrant. During the investigation, the police arrested a 45-year-old male of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody. On May 13 at 1:21 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of the Immaculate Conception Church located at 1219 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a male believed to be within the clothing donation bin and stealing clothes from the bin. During the investigation, the police arrested a 23 year old male, Jose Santospena of Yonkers, NY for Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)], Theft [2C:20-3A] and Defiant Trespass [2C:18-3B]. Santospena was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. On May 13 at 7:29 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Buffalo Wild Wings located at 470 Harmon Meadow Boulevard on a report of a fight in progress. During the investigation, the police arrested a 17-year-old male of Belleville, NJ for Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, a knife [2C:39-5D]. The 17-year-old male was subsequently released into the custody of a responsible adult. On May 14 at 10:15 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 29-year-old female of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Guttenburg, NJ in the amount of $500 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $100. She was able to post bail for both involved warrants and was released from police custody. These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
