PITTSBURGH, PA — A 6-year-old boy was accidentally shot in the head Sunday in Pittsburgh, according to law enforcement. The incident occurred about 8:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Johnston Avenue, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety, which added the boy was taken to a hospital in critical condition. His status had not changed as of Monday morning, law enforcement said. The shooting appeared to be an accident, authorities said, and detectives are investigating.
