Prospective candidates should be proficient at: • Troubleshooting HVAC equipment • Diagnose and perform equipment repairs and replacements (full split systems, mini-split systems, package units, condensers, coils, air handlers, furnaces including low- and ultra-low nox furnaces, heat pumps including water-source heat pumps, etc.) • Perform routine preventative maintenance on units • Respond to emergency maintenance requests/service calls • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures Qualifications: • Minimum 5-7 years previous experience in residential/commercial HVAC maintenance/repairs. • EPA certification is very helpful • Tools required • Valid CA driver’s license (NO DUI), clean driving record • Excellent customer service skills • Good judgement and strong problem solving and critical thinking skills • Ability to handle physical workload • Ability to upsell is huge!!! • Proposing new air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems as well as insulation, ducts, and energy efficient solutions • Educate clients on options of repairing equipment vs. replacing equipment APPLICANTS MUST SPEAK ENGLISH, HAVE LEDGIBLE WRITING. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK LEGALLY IN THE UNITED STATES.
