Press release from JCNJ: May 15, 2022 City officials joined community members for a special sendoff event on May 9 to show support and encouragement to the Jersey City Police Officers participating in the 26th annual Police Unity Tour alongside hundreds of officers from departments statewide. The Jersey City Police Cycling Team worked to raise $70,000 in donations for the National Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial and Museum in honor of the Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty. Over the course of the four-day Unity Tour, thousands of police officers from around the nation will bike together to reach the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, D.C.
