Connect to your body, meet new people, and have fun learning to dance Argentine Tango! This Tango Foundations Series will introduce you to the basics. Welcome newbies, dancers of other genres, and tangueros with a bit of pandemic rust. We'll get to better know our own bodies, learn how to calibrate and connect with others, and learn how to be creative with just a small number of steps! This class is for all ages and all skill levels. Mondays May 2-23 7-8 Class PRICE: $55 for four-week series $100 if two people sign up together ($50 apiece) WHERE: The Detroit Dance Loft -- A new dance studio in Detroit with a 1500 sq. ft. dance floor in The Russell Industrial Complex. 1600 Clay Street Russel Industrial Center (located inside) Building #1, Unit #309 The following directions should help you find Detroit Dance Loft seamlessly. - There is only one entrance to the complex. - Once you enter you will see a small sign in front of you on your left with the DDL logo and an arrow that points between buildings 1 and 2. Make this right turn. - There is a blue door on your right about halfway through the corridor. Park anywhere in the corridor and enter the blue door and come upstairs to 3B. - Walk forward and make and right and you will see our unit and hear the music. (The DDL logo is on all the doors)
