Seeking Care Attendant in a COVID Safe Household

Greetings! I'm hiring a personal care attendant for day shifts every other week, Friday's through Sunday's - 9am to 5/6pm. This would equal out to about 50 hours a month. $23 to $25/hr DOE. The work is physically active, and primarily consists of assisting me with physical care associated with my disability. Given the personal nature of the work, it requires a body positive attitude. The work environment is friendly to women and trans/non-binary folks. Applicants must be comfortable movers. While no experience in this particular kind of work is needed, strong candidates must have a demonstrated history of good judgment and responsibility. It's a physical position, so applicants must be comfortable squatting, bending, lifting etc. Candidates with prior positions requiring movement, multi-tasking, clear communication, detail orientation and time management skills are preferred. A friendly and compassionate personality and being fairly logical are definitely helpful. To do this work a person must be fairly fluent in English. All applicants should be vaccinated and have COVID-19 prevention practices. This is a long-term position, and includes shifts through holidays. Ideally applicants have their own transportation.
