WOODBURY, MN — Woodbury officials are inviting new residents in the city to come out and meet their neighbors and representatives Tuesday night.
Woodbury's "New Resident Welcoming Event' is scheduled to run from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the M Health Fairview Sports Center's field house.
The event, which is part of the Woodbury City Council's initiative "to foster an inclusive and welcoming community," is set to feature giveaways, bounce houses, kids activities, and the opportunity to meet with Mayor Anne Burt, members of the council and city employees.
New residents can also meet with representatives from nonprofit organizations throughout the city.
