BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Come June 7, voters will decide between 11 candidates for three open seats on the Beverly Hills City Council. With vote-by-mail ballots hitting Los Angeles County voters' mailboxes this week, Patch asked candidates why they were running and what key issues they will focus on if elected. Six of the 11 candidates responded to Patch's questionnaire. Vera Markowitz, Mayor Bob Wunderlich, Councilmembers John Mirisch and Lester Friedman and Robin Rowe did not submit answers to Patch's questionnaire.
