WESTFIELD, NJ — A portion of Tamaques Park Road is closed Christmas morning due to a downed tree, police said. Those trying to access Tamaques Park can enter the area from Dickson Drive only, police said. Several inches of rain fell in many areas of the state and winds exceeding 50- and 60-mph brought down trees and utility poles and also helped cause more than 73,000 power outages.
