Starting a dark punk/glam/noise midlife crisis band!

Middle-aged singer/performance artist with a thunderous low voice and no fear onstage seeks partners in crime to create a strange, absurdist, dark project that will leave people speechless and mildly disoriented. Seeking people who have an experimental mindset, a sense of humor, the ability to improvise and are not too married to traditional song structures. My ultimate lineup would consist of searing punk/goth guitar, driving bass and pounding drums…perhaps weird samples and synth sequences to boot! Early influences: Iggy Pop, Nick Cave, Early Christian Death, Bauhaus, Specimen, Throbbing Gristle, Devo, The Damned, The Cramps, X, Virgin Prunes, Gary Numan, Nina Hagen, Lou Reed, Sonic Youth, The Residents, Skinny Puppy, Bowie, Cash, Pistols, etc.. Current Jams: Jonathan Bree, Drab Majesty, Radiohead, NIN, Chelsea Wolfe, King Dude, Automatic, Patriarchy, Lydia Lunch Retrovirus, and much more…I also listen to a lot of jazz, dub version and experimental/noise stuff. I’m also obsessed with David Lynch. I have much stage/recording experience and have fronted a successful Johnny Cash cover band for over a decade. I’ve played live with Wayne Kramer (MC5), Matt Sorum (The Cult and Velvet Revolver), Gilby Clarke (GnR) and many others.
