Route 146 Will Squeeze To One Lane During Bridge Work

SUTTON, MA — Drivers headed down Route 146 this weekend may encounter delays due to two bridge repair projects. Starting on Friday at 5 p.m., MassDOT will reduce the highway to one lane traveling over the Main Street bridge in Sutton and the Lackey Dam Bridge in Douglas — exits 9 and 8, respectively. The lane reductions will affect southbound travel only. The lane restrictions will end by about 8 a.m. on Sunday, according to MassDOT. MassDOT crews will be performing bridge repair work during the lane closures.
