WHAT
Summer Camp that explores free, public, and intergenerational spaces to connect Chicago’s KIDS to their wider community.
The intention of this program is to expose KIDS to new ideas, people, places, and things that are within their reach in order to deepen their background knowledge and widen their scope of what is possible. We center on childhood, which includes: Curiosity, Hope, Interests, Laughter, Development, Resilience, Exploration, and Needs.
WHY
Too many KIDS These Days have the World Wide Web at their fingertips but haven’t explored beyond their block. Don’t let this summer become a missed opportunity to collect learning experiences that will enrich their formal and informal education for years to come.
